Transfer to Concordia-Chicago
You’ve already started your college journey—now finish strong in a close-knit, supportive campus community.
At Concordia University Chicago (CUC), transferring from a community college or another university is personal and straightforward. This page covers how your credits transfer, funding options, and how to join the on-campus undergraduate community.
- Attend a Transfer Wednesdays appointment (in-person or virtually) in April or October, call us at (708) 209-3100, or email us at admission@CUChicago.edu
- Get an unofficial evaluation of how your courses map into CUC’s curriculum on Transferology or contact an admissions counselor at admission@cuchicago.edu.
- More information about transfer credit is in the CUC Catalog.
- File FAFSA (CUC code: 001666) if eligible. Early filing is beneficial.
- Transfer & — Available to incoming transfer students; some awards are specific to community college transfer.
- Net Price Calculator — Use CUC’s tool to estimate cost, then review with a transfer counselor.
- Priority and Deadlines — For U.S. federal aid, aim for April 1 priority; adhere to CUC’s admission deadlines (e.g. July 1 for fall, December 1 for spring, etc.).
- Some certificate, endorsement, or nondegree options may not qualify for federal aid—ask about alternatives or payment plans.
