Graduating Senior Art Show opens April 15 at Concordia-Chicago
The Ferguson Art Gallery at Concordia University Chicago presents the Graduating Senior Art Show, a free, public exhibition, from April 15 to May 11. Graduating art majors in the areas of studio art, graphic arts, pre-art therapy and art education will exhibit a wide variety of two- and three-dimensional artwork.
More than 60 works of art will be highlighted by participating students Krysta Artibey of Genoa, Julia Baker of Oak Park, Oralia Duarte of Chicago, Louis Fernando of Los Angeles, CA, Andrea Lela of Des Plaines, Mark Mangiaracina of Sherman, Molly Miklosz of Western Springs, Jon Ortigoza of Des Plaines, Eric Ortiz of Chicago, Alex Pankey of Elmwood Park, Anna Schaff of Litchfield, Terrin Sharp of Chicago and Jennelle Stolarczuk of Lisle.
Come meet these budding stars and get inspired by their creativity and passion at the artists’ reception on Saturday, May 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the gallery. Are you looking for a work of art for your home or office? Do you have photography needs beyond your scope of expertise? Perhaps your small business needs a logo facelift? Does your nonprofit need a monthly newsletter or brochure? Maybe your own online presence needs updating? The Ferguson Art Gallery is located in Kretzmann Hall at Concordia University Chicago, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest, IL. The gallery is directed by BettyAnn Mocek, professor of art at CUC and prominent Chicago artist, educator and arts advocate.
