Dr. Rogner teaches Literary Theory and Criticism, British Literature II, Writing Poetry, Twentieth Century Poetry, Shakespeare, Introduction to Honors: Critical Thinking, and Writing About Literature.


His areas of expertise include British romanticism, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, 19th and 20th century poetry, hymnody, and the intersection of Christian art and poetry.Dr. Rogner is also the editor of Motif, Concordia-Chicago’s literary and creative arts journal. He has been a member of Concordia’s faculty since 1986.
