Motif is the annual creative arts journal of Concordia University Chicago.
Published each spring, Motif includes poetry, short fiction, essays, and artwork by Concordia-Chicago students, faculty and staff. The journal began publication in 1960, under the leadership of English professors F. S. Janzow and Henry Lettermann. David Rogner, Professor of English, serves as the current editor.
