What Is Direct Admission?
Direct Admission is a simpler way for LCMS high school seniors to step into CUC. Instead of starting with a full application, your LCMS high school shares your academic information through CUS, and CUC uses that to consider you for admission. It’s a straightforward approach that honors the preparation you’ve already received in your Lutheran school community.
Who Qualifies
- You’re a senior from an LCMS high school, homeschool, or partner school.
- Your school participates in the CUS Direct Admission initiative.
- You’re part of the class of 2026 or later.
How It Works
The CUS Direct Admission initiative streamlines the process by allowing LCMS high schools to share academic information directly with CUC. This allows for earlier review and timely outreach with next steps.
Once your information is received, CUC shares details about academic programs, scholarships, campus visits, and admission timelines so you can explore whether CUC feels like the right place for you.
Direct Admission is not binding, so you can learn more about CUC while still keeping your options open.
