The Concordia University Chicago Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) is designed to meet the demand for doctoral business education that is the next step in individual professional development.
The Ed.S. degree, offered through a partnership with Coalition of Oregon School Administrators, helps qualify educational leaders for superintendent and central office administrator positions. Completion of the coursework also qualifies the student for the Oregon Professional Administrator License.

This program prepares educators for district‐level administrative responsibility. This program is designed to build upon the candidate’s administrative knowledge base of building‐level leadership. The focus is the development of district‐level leadership skills including policy, human resources/bargaining for purposes of union contract negotiations, and district finance. The superintendency and internship courses provide the simulations and hands‐on experience at a district level which are not included in principal licensure preparation.

The Principal Licensure program explores theories, research, and policies that support effective school leadership practices. Participants will develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required to assume school leadership roles with an emphasis on examining the various decisions that affect school administrators and the importance of human resource management.
