Dr. Mackey is an art therapist at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, where she supports pediatric and adolescent patients and their families throughout the medical journey from diagnosis and treatment to hospitalization, post treatment survivorship, end of life care, and bereavement. Her areas of expertise as a medical art therapist include working with children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer, blood disorders, cardiac conditions, and other medical traumas.
