The MathSci Bowl is a fast-paced question and answer tournament for mid-sized Christian high schools focusing on mathematics and science. The tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end in the afternoon. The exact time and tournament format will depend upon the number of participating schools. The tournament has a maximum of twelve teams.
Rounds are played in two 5 or 7-minute halves where teams answer toss-up and bonus questions involving mathematics or science.
In the morning, each team will participate in four rounds. The afternoon session will consist of a single elimination tournament where team rankings will be based on the morning performance. The top teams will receive plaques and individuals of winning teams will also receive ribbons.
