The EdD program in Leadership with a specialization in educational technology develops technology experts into technicians responsible for instructional design, human resource development, professional development, project management and continuing education of employees. Graduates will be able to design, implement, evaluate and manage educational technology for K-12 education, higher education, corporate training, medicine and continuing education in professional settings.
The coursework, which is fully online, will assist in facilitating the exploration, discussion and understanding of challenges and possibilities of educational technology in a variety of educational settings.
Based on the conceptual learning guidelines proposed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the doctoral programs in leadership with a specialization in educational technology are designed to enable doctoral candidates to engage students and improve learning, enrich professional practice and provide positive models for students and colleagues to:

In addition to the ISTE standards, the program is aligned with the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (2008), and Educational Leadership Constituent Council (2011) standards in fulfillment of a doctorate in educational technology leadership.
