1990s Alumni Kick Off Weekend with Friday Gathering
Are you a 1990s alumnus? Did you start in the 80s, finish in the 00s or attend in the very middle of the decade? All Concordia University-River Forest alumni are invited to start Homecoming weekend at Legends Sports Bar (Schiller Park) in the lobby of Comfort Suites O'Hare Airport. Continue the Tailgate Tradition on Homecoming Saturday
Connect with past Cougar Football players, 1990s alumni and other friends during pre-game festivities in the David/Jonathan parking lot. Rob Wellen BA '99 is hosting this year's alumni tailgate. Guests can bring their own tailgate feast or purchase a Homecoming Tailgate Buffet. In 2015, alumni tailgate parking is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Worship with Classmates as Part of Your Celebration
Faith matters at Concordia and is an important part of Homecoming weekend. Help us Fill the Chapel on Friday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. with alumni Guest Preacher Rev. Keith Speaks '86 (Hales Corners, WI). Alumni can join us in person or through our live Chapel web stream. On Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m., University Pastor Jeff Leininger continues the weekend in Sunday Morning Worship.
The Arts are Alive on Campus Homecoming Weekend
The Collective, CUC's student theater troupe, will debut a new work Homecoming weekend in association with Chicago Dramatists. Other Familiars, written by Scott Barsotti and directed by Dr. Jason Narvy, will be performed Thursday - Sunday at Madison Street Theatre. Cityscapes by Prof. BettyAnn Mocek officially opens in the Ferguson Art Gallery, Kretzmann Hall. Attendees can get a sneak peek Homecoming weekend!
