Emmaline earned her Masters of Arts in International Education Management from Middlebury Institute of International Studies and her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and French from Hollins University. She previous worked with international students at the high school level. She joined CUC’s Academic Advising team in March 2019.


Her previous work in the international education field gave her a passion for understanding the different perspectives students have. She uses Nancy Schlossberg’s Transition Theory to help students from diverse backgrounds through the many transitions they encounter in college.
