Donald Watson II
DJ earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010. As an undergrad, DJ was involved in leadership roles for multiple on-campus organizations including, Alpha Phi Alpha, All Greek Committee, and NAACP. Additionally, he served as a student assistant coach for the University’s football team, during which time they won two Division I conference championships.
He moved to Chicago in 2012 to begin work on a graduate degree in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago. Before joining Academic Advising, DJ interned for one year in the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement. His focus was orientation, leadership, and commuter programs.
His passion for helping others influenced his decision to switch programs; he is currently completing his M.A. in Family Counseling. Advising students with social justice and compassion at the heart of his practice ensures that each and every student feels valued and respected. DJ is committed to helping students and supporting the high quality education they receive at Concordia.
