Concordia University Chicago will welcome Timothy S. Goeglein to deliver the presentation, “Faith in the Halls of Power: Why grace and humility are needed now more than ever.” This free, public event will take place April 12, at 1 p.m. in room 200 of the Christopher Center on campus.

Goeglein’s career has provided numerous opportunities for service in support of elected officials at the highest levels of government. He was press secretary for U.S. Senator Dan Coats for a decade. He joined George W. Bush’s presidential campaign staff and became special assistant to President Bush from 2001 to 2008. Goeglein, a graduate of Indiana University’s Ernie Pyle School of Journalism, is the author of three books. He is currently vice president for external and government relations at Focus on the Family.
Concordia-Chicago’s campus is located at 7400 Augusta St., River Forest, IL. Free off-street parking is available in the University’s parking structure, south of Division Street on Bonnie Brae Place. Handicapped-accessible parking is available in the visitors’ lot adjacent to the north side of the University parking structure.
