In a semester where traditional theater productions are adapting to social distancing rules, Concordia University Chicago’s Department of Theater will premiere “The Moment Video Project” via livestream video on Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. The livestream will be available on the department’s YouTube and Facebook pages. The collaborative performance will also be available on demand after the livestream premiere.

CUC alumni and current students from around the world contributed to this exploratory 10-minute video. Drawing on the words of Virginia Woolf, “The Moment Was All; The Moment Was Enough,” collaborators responded to each other through personalized 30-second video moments.

The performers include Juan Ortega, Gillian Norris, Hannah Taylor, Robert Pacheco, Joshua Bomba, Ghaida Aljebreen, Anneliese Ayers, Aletheia Grossman, George Suchy, Jessica Smith, Catie GeRue, Morgan Schussler Williams, Rachel Nuckles, Oralia Duarte, Eamon McInerney, Nate Perez, Katie Vazquez, Brandon Ellis and Eamon Gonzales. The project was curated by Angela Matera and Stephanie Stroud, associate professor of theater at Concordia-Chicago.
