Concordia-Chicago and The Chicago Community Trust present free performance of "Soul Sisters"

Concordia University Chicago and The Chicago Community Trust will present performances of Soul Sisters on Friday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. The shows will take place at Oak Park Township Services, 130 S. Oak Park Ave. in Oak Park, IL. Both performances are free and open to the public.

University Band to host Christmas concert at Concordia-Chicago

Concordia University Chicago’s University Band will perform a Christmas concert on Friday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Our Lord on campus. Admission is free.

Golden Apple Foundation recognizes Concordia-Chicago alumna

Concordia University Chicago alumna Phyllis LaCour has been honored with the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. This prestigious award is presented to 10 outstanding teachers in the five-county Chicago area every year. Award recipients become lifetime members of the Golden Apple Academy of Educators, which develops teachers with the ability and passion to make a positive difference in the lives of students.

The Collective, the theater production company of Concordia University Chicago, is proud to present William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The play is directed by Stephanie Stroud, with musical direction by Paul Scavone. 

Wind Symphony and Kapelle to perform home concerts

Concordia University Chicago’s Wind Symphony and Kapelle will each perform post-tour concerts this fall in the Chapel of Our Lord on the university’s River Forest campus. Admission to both events is free.
