Concordia-Chicago ranked among best online doctoral programs in education

Concordia University Chicago has been recognized by Affordable Colleges Online as having one of the “Best Online Ph.D. in Education Degrees” for 2016. The ranking honors the University for its combination of academic quality, accommodation, affordability and faculty-student ratio.

Affordable Colleges Online (www.affordablecollegesonline.org) creates its rankings by using the most recent information available from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the primary federal source for data on colleges, universities, and technical and vocational post-secondary schools in the U.S. IPEDS is a resource maintained by the National Center for Education Statistics, which provides consistent and complete indicators of education status and trends.

Concordia-Chicago offers education-related doctoral degree programs in early childhood education, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, and special education, among others. The overarching curriculum for these programs focuses on knowledge management, decision making, conflict and change management, communication, and different and unique approaches to leadership.
