Dr. Globokar teaches Introduction to Sociology, Criminological Theory, Law and Society, Gangs and Society, Criminal Justice, and Theories in Policing.  She joined Concordia's faculty in 2019.  Her academic work centers on the contextual and historical factors that shape responses to crime, including victim services, probation, and gang policy.  Dr. Globokar is involved in anti-violence and reentry work on Chicago's West side.
