Dr. Dewey teaches Social Research Methods, Juvenile Delinquency, Sociology of Gender and Sexualities, Sociology of Corrections, Sociology of Health Care, Criminology, Social Deviance and Directed Study courses at Concordia University Chicago.
Among her areas of research are medical sociology, gender and sexualities. Professor Dewey has been a member of Concordia-Chicago’s faculty since 2003.
