Honigschnabel, originally from St. Louis, joined Concordia University Chicago’s faculty in 2000. As a soloist, she performed with Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra, Missouri Symphony Orchestra, Waukegan Symphony Orchestra and Saint Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.
For five seasons, she served as principal keyboard from the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and has appeared with the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Symphony Orchestra and Chicagoland Pops Orchestra. Although her roots are in classical music, she enjoys an active freelance career in musical theater.
