Professor Mocek teaches various art courses at Concordia University Chicago, where she is the director of the University’s Ferguson Art Gallery.
Classes she teaches include mixed media, art appreciation, drawing, painting and many more. She also works with advanced and graduate students through independent studies, honor’s program and the Ferguson Art Gallery. A prominent Chicago artist, Professor Mocek’s work has been displayed locally and throughout the nation. Among her research interests are the artist’s statement, various art processes and mixed media pieces. She has been a member of Concordia’s faculty since 2002.
