Dr. Karen Calendo is an Assistant Professor of Health Care Management. She teaches many of the core courses offered in this program within the College of Business.


She currently teaches in the ADP Health Care Management program as well as organizational management courses. She joined Concordia University Chicago in 2018 after 15 years of administering community based mental health programs. Dr. Calendo's areas of expertise include; health care management, program development & implementation, health care marketing, grant writing, coalition building, and community health education.

Prior to serving at Concordia University-Chicago, Dr. Calendo was an Associate Director and Associate Instructor for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As well as the Founder of the UW- Milwaukee Entrepreneurship Veterans Readiness and Support program.
