Spiritual Life Student Leaders

President - Trey Dille

Concordia’s Spiritual Life Ministry offers many opportunities for students to work with one another and to grow in their vocations as Christians serving a world in need. All students are welcome to be an important part of Spiritual Life and participate in all that it has to offer.

Administrator - Grace Conrad

Spiritual Life is full of opportunities for every single student to grow in their faith through worship, study, relationships, and serving people near and far! The administrator supports the leaders of Spiritual Life’s ministries as they serve God and His people.

Communications Director - Jackson Scofield

The Spiritual Life programs at Concordia consist of many ministries and include a great number of events and service opportunities available for students and the entire campus family to participate in.  The Communications Director ensures news and updates on these events are available and readily accessible.

Ministry to Concordia - Abigail Deddens

Ministry to Concordia is here to provide community and opportunities for growth for the students who call Concordia home! Although we all come from different places and experiences and are focusing on different areas for the future, the goal of Ministry to Concordia is that we are able to come together and grow together through Jesus Christ.

Ministry to Chicago - Haylie Williamson

Ministry to Chicago aims to provide Concordia students with diverse outlets to serve the greater Chicagoland area. We aim to spread the true Gospel of Jesus Christ through our words and actions to our neighbors who are in need of Christian love in all capacities. We strive to constantly pursue this mission through prayer and the dedication of our time, talents and treasures with which God has blessed us.

Ministry to the World - Anna Krenz

Ministry to the World is a unique and diverse way for students to reach out to those not only in their community, city, and country but also to the world. As Christians we are called to spread the good news to the ends of the earth, and to also stand up, advocate, be the voice, and stand in the gap for our fellow brothers and sisters. Ministry to the World brings awareness of global Christian issues and plans mission trips to those in need throughout the world in hope of creating lasting relationships, spreading the love of Christ and also stirring a call in students’ lives to be involved in Missions. This ministry also coordinates with other ministries, missionaries and organizations to promote how students can be actively involved in changing the world.

Concordia Youth Ministry - Marcail Clark

Concordia Youth Ministry is a dual ministry that fosters relationships between students on campus to serve youth at churches. Teams meet on a weekly basis to have devotions and play games. These teams go out to serve churches by leading lock-ins and youth events. Through our CYM teams, Concordia-Chicago shares the amazing message of God’s love with many children.

Micah Brown - David-Jonathan Hall

The Spiritual Development Specialist is an extremely important role on the CUC campus helping students navigate their spiritual growth and faith. Whether you are a lifelong Christian or someone just becoming familiar with faith, everyone has questions. The SDS can serve as someone to talk to who will listen and encourage you in your faith which is vital in growth both spiritually and physically.

Chloe Hrabusicky - Concordia Hall

The Spiritual Development Specialist role exists to be a Christ-centered presence within the dorms. Life in college to college can be a difficult yet rewarding experience.  Serving within a upperclassmen residential hall (Concordia Hall) helps residents become acclimated to Concordia's campus by making friends and getting involved. Serving in any way I can, I desire to be a resource for students. I hope to help build relationships with residents and help them form relationships with others and Christ.

Charlie McLain - Mary-Martha and Trushiem Halls

The Spiritual Development Specialist walks beside students in the residence halls to grow in their faith life and help them through the tough questions that they may have.

Benjamin Simmons - Kohn, Lindemann, and Krauss Halls

Being a Spiritual Development Specialist for the Freshman dorms means that I have both the responsibilities an RA and the added benefit of providing residence with spiritual guidance. I have the privilege of helping spread the love of Jesus by planning building events and encouraging residents to get involved in spiritual activities on campus. I am looking forward to providing my residents with the means to worship and celebrate their Christian faith regardless of where they are on their journey.
