  • Early Childhood Conference

    The 40th Annual Early Childhood Conference will take place on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The event is Co-sponsored by: Concordia Early Childhood Education Center College of Education/Division of Innovation and Outreach.  An In-Service Experience for Early Childhood Educators Birth to Grade 3.

  • Culturally Sensitive Instruction and Classroom Management

    During the course of the morning portion of the workshop, participants will discuss the concept of culturally responsive teaching after viewing the Power Point and will discuss their diverse populations of learners they encountered daily and apply this discussion to the notion of culturally responsive teaching. The course will be held on Thursday, July 28, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is worth 4.5 PDHs.

The Department of Division of Innovation and Outreach offers annual conferences, workshops throughout the year. New conferences/workshops are designed by the Division of Innovation and Outreach personnel and academic department faculty on an ongoing basis.

Concordia University Chicago's Music Department is proud to host an arts camp in the summer for students ages 6 – 11 years old. Dr. Christian Hauser & Carmen Hauser (Oak Park Music Specialists) will lead the weeklong workshop.
