As animation technology improves, the demand for talented animators will continue to grow. At Concordia-Chicago you will be able to expand your portfolio and hone your skills in traditional animation, 3D animation, multimedia technology and digital arts. Animation graduates will be prepared for careers as motion graphics artists, effects artists, storyboard artists, visual development artists, modelers, layout artists, character animators, effects animators, motion capture artists, lighting artists and commercial animators, among many others.
Experts in cybersecurity are needed by companies large and small to protect against identity theft and cyberterrorism. Recent history has shown that no one is immune to hacking—that’s where your degree in cybersecurity comes in. At Concordia-Chicago you will participate in practical and hands-on experiences that teach you the technical and analytical skills needed to design, administer, secure and maintain a network, protect crucial digital assets, and respond to cyber attacks.
Follow your passion by pursuing a degree in game design. You will learn how designing games is a multi-disciplinary effort, requiring a broad set of skills and the ability to communicate with others. Successful students will be able to use their existing knowledge of gaming with an open mind to the possibilities for gaming in the future. Curriculum covers the principles of design, usability research, prototyping, testing and creating the finished experience.
