Natural Sciences Department
If you are fascinated by the natural world, there is a vast realm of career opportunities to explore at Concordia University Chicago. In addition to specific majors such as biology and chemistry, we also offer a “package” of courses for the student whose professional plans require a broad base of science courses, including those planning to enter medical, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary, or physical therapy graduate programs. Our faculty are experienced scientists and researchers who combine intensive expertise and scientific knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to providing opportunities for students inside and outside the classroom—taking advantage of all that metro Chicago has to offer.
Concordia’s applied microscopy program allows you to take advantage of our partnership with the Hooke College of Applied Sciences. Concordia’s outstanding faculty and natural science programs provide excellent foundational instruction, while the Hooke College of Applied Sciences offers specialized education from its experienced staff scientists and hands-on training with a wide range of state-of-the-art microscopy instrumentation.
