Dellegrazie and Kang take 4th in Case Writers’ Competition


Elisabeth Dellegrazie, Assistant Professor of  Marketing at Concordia-Chicago (CUC) and Xuejun Kang, PhD, at Hebei University of  Economics and Business (HUEB), China, developed and wrote a marketing case titled, Asian Pop-Up Cinema – Innovation in International Film Festivals. The case was submitted to the Jacobs & Clevenger Case Writers’ Competition and earned a fourth-place recognition and award.

The Jacobs & Clevenger Case Writers’ Competition is an annual event in partnership with DePaul University, Ferris State University, Marketing EDGE, and the Midwest Marketing Education Foundation (MMEF) that produces timely and relevant IMC marketing cases for business courses. Each case submitted is peer reviewed. The top four cases are published in the next version of The IMC Case Book: Cases in Integrated Marketing Communications (Jones & Kelly, 2016).

The case will be used in classrooms in the U.S. as well as China. Such internationalization of  curriculum between the Universities and demonstrates a commitment to the academic development of both schools.
