The Center for International Education, Study Abroad & Study Away is a campus-wide interdisciplinary center that prepares students to become global citizens in an integrated world.
The Center’s mission is:
- to support the direction of the University by providing coordinated leadership to build and sustain mutually beneficial international partnerships, while also enabling opportunities to closely collaborate with academic units in all four colleges;
- to serve as a resource to the international student community;
- to promote opportunities for local/domestic students to enrich their academic experience through participation in study abroad and study away programs;
- and to foster appreciation for global engagement and serve as a resource to the entire University community through international and intercultural programming.
The Center for International Education, Study Abroad & Study Away reflects the University’s mission to promote academic rigor and the grounding of students in objective truth, integrity and excellence by facilitating active global/glocal citizenship, and to form students for vocations in church, family and world by deepening their global vision and perspective
