Learn More

Concordia University Chicago is proud to share news of accomplishments and other milestones with the Concordia-Chicago community. Be sure to stay connected through address updates, getting in touch with classmates and through The Forester, the University's magazine for alumni and friends.

Address Updates

To help keep the alumni database up-to-date, please provide your new email or postal address as quickly as possible after your transition. Please note that all edits can take 6-8 weeks to be in full effect as some mailing lists may already be in the works at the time of your submission.

Connect with a Classmate

We are happy to assist with connecting Cougars. However, due to privacy policies, the University is unable to share alumni contact information directly to a third party. When looking for a classmate, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations to learn more about the process.

Class Notes

News and notes for The Forester, Concordia-Chicago's biannual publication for alumni and friends of the University, are an exciting opportunity to learn about the successes of our alumni. Entries should be submitted by the person featured (rather than a third party) so that accuracy may be verified. When submitting a death notice, please include a copy of or link to the obituary, if possible, and include the names and class years of any survivors who attended Concordia-Chicago.

Pictures are encouraged to accompany news—especially when alumni are in the photo. Please submit photos as an email attachment along with your submission. Digital photos should be a minimum of 1200 pixels on its longest side. Photo prints are also acceptable but cannot be returned.

NOTE: Information and image submission provides Concordia-Chicago rights for use and distribution of the image but does not guarantee its publication. All submitted items may be edited for space and content.

Living together in a vibrant and influential Christian academic community, our Christian faith is an imperative value to live as productive citizens of the Church and world. We warmly invite all alumni and friends of the University to submit requests—specific or general—to your partners in prayer.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God (Philippians 4:6).

The spiritual guidance you received while a student at Concordia University Chicago should not end just because you're not taking classes anymore. Whether you are serving in a church profession, or giving glory to God in another vocation, our Christian community would very much like to support you, give thanks with you and rejoice with you.

Pastor Jeff Leininger, our University Pastor, warmly invites all alumni and friends of the University to submit requests—specific or general—to your partners in prayer. We will then offer these requests throughout the week during our morning chapel time.

To submit prayer requests, please email Pastor Leininger at Jeff.Leininger@CUChicago.edu

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for maintaining the academic records of the institution through prompt, courteous and accurate service. Their team is happy to assist with transcript requests and other record questions.
