Musikgarten Sessions
15 months—3 years
Session I: Tuesday 10:30 am - 11
Session II: Thursday 9:30 am - 10

Participate with your toddler for 30 minutes each week in singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening and playing simple instruments.
Musical play activities:
- Enhance your child’s musical aptitude and listening abilities.
- Lay the foundation for singing and vocal development, listening skills, and purposeful movement.
- Materials a 60 minute CD, a parent activity book and an instrument or scarf to use at home.

3—5 years

Celebrate your child’s love of nature and growing independence through activities involving the four seasons.
- Nurture the child's ability to use language and participate in dramatic play within a musical context.
- Develop listening, focused attention, imagination, creativity, and self-expression.
- Explore musical instruments, creative movement and storytelling.
- Each packet contains an outstanding CD, 8 full-color illustrated cards and a parent activity book, all in a cloth Musikgarten pouch.
4-5 Years
Session I: Tuesday 9:20 am - 10:20
Session II: Thursday 4 pm - 5
Winter: Jan 13—Apr 14 (13 classes)
One-hour classes are dedicated to rudimentary music skills such as pitch matching, beat competency, ensemble development, and music notation, using themes taken from the child's home environment and natural surroundings.
- First steps in reading music.
- Coordination of body and voice.
- Stories, songs and sounds from the world of nature such as My Home, Woodlands, and Marsh.
- Material packets include a CD, a poster and game pieces, notation games, instrument pages and a book. Children
receive two packets during the 13 week session.
