Our Director

Erin Thompson

Our new workshop director this year is Ms. Erin Thompson. Erin is currently teaching first grade at Bethany Lutheran School in Naperville. She has her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Theatre and a Masters degree in Reading from Roosevelt University. Erin is a seasoned theatre director and technician having been heavily involved in Concordia’s theatre program and also having run our Young Actor’s Workshop several years ago. She is very excited return to a program she loved and nurtured in its early years. Erin will be assisted by several current Concordia students. These students are carefully chosen for their knowledge and involvement in theatre, music, technical theatre, dance, etc. They will work closely with Erin and under her supervision will teach the technical and design elements of theater, music, choreography, character development and above all, they will help your children learning everything they can about the wonderful world of theatre.
