Student Directors
Our Theatre Majors (both Liberal Arts and Secondary Education) are required to direct a One-Act as part of their academic program. This course, "Directing a One-Act," is generally the culmination of their academic career after taking the two main acting and directing courses as well as gaining experience through involvement in our mainstage productions. This experience gives students a firm handle on the skills and discipline necessary to work in a variety of venues including community theatres, high schools, elementary education programs, summer camps and the like. All students are encouraged to audition and assist their fellow learners with this intensive project.
