Concordia University's Artists of Concordia Theatre (A.C.T.) offer a wide variety of on-stage and behind the scenes experiences for all students, no matter what degree program they are pursuing. A.C.T. sponsors four major productions a year including:

  • Two plays each Fall Semester
  • One Musical each Spring Semester
  • One Children's Theatre each Spring Semester

Opportunites to act, direct, design, stage managing, etc. are available for any of our productions during the academic year. Several of our theatre courses offer acting or directing opportunities as well.

Over the summer months, students from most any background are invited to work in a more professional manner with our Young Actor's Workshops. Here they are given the chance to teach theatre and its many aspects to young children as they mount a full production.

With Concordia Uuniversity located so near the richness of Chicago theatre, a host of opportunities exist for our students to examine theatre on many different levels.

A.C.T. is open to any student, no matter your experience or
educational program. Come, tread the boards with us!
