Laudate
Laudate, the women’s choir of Concordia, performs the finest women’s sacred and secular repertoire. Founded in 2003, the women sing on and off campus for concerts and worship services in the Chicago area. Laudate will share a performance with the Jazz Band this November and sing at Concordia’s highly anticipated annual event of Lessons and Carols during the first weekend of December.
Conductor: Cynthia Anderson
Männerchor
Männerchor is Concordia’s newest choral ensemble for men’s voices. Started in 2006, Männerchor performs an eclectic array of men’s literature, from chant to vocal jazz. A major staple of the repertoire is German a cappella part song literature. The men perform on and off campus throughout the year, focusing on singing demonstrations for developing male voices in choral programs throughout the Chicago area. Männerchor will be hosting a male choir clinic in April of 2008.
Conductor: Charles P. Brown
