Addison Hall Lobby to Honor Donors

Alumni are invited to a special dedication on Saturday, October 5 at 11 a.m. in the Pillars Lobby. Weekend Festivities Honor Campus Centennial

River Forest has been Concordia University Chicago’s home for 100 years since the campus was dedicated on October 12, 1913. Join us for Homecoming & Reunion Week, Sunday – Sunday, Sept. 29 – Oct. 6 as we celebrate the campus and the surrounding community that has embraced our faculty, staff, students and alumni. Teams March Faithfully Onward, Ever Upward

Let's Go, Cougars! This year's Homecoming weekend is full of competition with four teams in action at home. Friday afternoon features Men's Soccer (3-3) against Marian at 3 p.m. followed by the annual Homecoming Pep Rally & Coronation. Volleyball (0-7) looks to lift their record against rival Concordia-Wisconsin at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Football (0-2) kicks off at 12 p.m. against Rockford College, followed by undefeated Women's Soccer (3-0-1) against Marian at 3:30 p.m. Learn More >>

Classmates Reconnect at Weekend Gatherings

Returning home to reconnect with classmates is a highlight for every alumnus's Homecoming. Special gatherings have been organized by class volunteers including: Class of 1972 & 1973 (including incoming freshman of 1968): Start the weekend on Friday over apps and drinks at the Standard Lounge of the Comfort Suites (the official Class of 1972 & 1973 hotel). Celebrate Charlie T's 80th Birthday with Mascot Alumni

In October 1933, Concordia students selected the "Cougars" as the official mascot for University teams. Since then he has affectionately been known as Charlie T. Cougar. On Saturday, we will celebrate Charlie's 80th birthday with cake for his fans and an honor for all alumni who have donned the Charlie T. costume or mask. Hall of Fame Honors Tradition, Pride & Excellence

Space is still available to join the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame Celebration on Saturday, October 5. Honorees include Greg Bahnfleth '89 (football)David Stellwagen '85 (basketball, tennis)Kristin (Prange) Veldhuizen '06 (women's soccer) and Tim Wier '05 (cross country, track). Plan today to join teammates to honor these outstanding Cougars. ACT Performs World Premiere of American Home

The Artists of Concordia Theatre, in partnership with Chicago Dramatists, will host the World Premiere of American Home, written by Stephanie Alison Walker and directed by Meghan Beals-McCarthy, Homecoming weekend. The show, performed on the main stage of the Madison Street Theatre, explores how Americans are forced to renegotiate the American Dream, the extremes people go to when faced with losing everything and the resilience of the American spirit. Order Tickets >>

Close Celebration Weekend in Worship and Fellowship

Join students and members of Resurrection Lutheran Church for Sunday Morning Worship to celebrate in prayer and praise. Wrap up your celebration weekend with one last opportunity to connect with classmates over a casual buffet brunch.
