Concordia Grads Praise Their Alma Mater
An Independent research firm surveyed 300 Concordia University alumni in 23-minute phone interviews from September 6-13, 2001, and compared their responses with graduates of other LCMS colleges, other Illinois private colleges, and national flagship universities. Below are some of the results.

of Concordia graduates surveyed agreed that faculty at their alma mater are personally and academically interested in their students, compared with just 35% of public university graduates surveyed.

of Concordia graduates surveyed indicated that faculty often challenge them, but personally helped them meet academic challenges.
 

92%

of Concordia graduates surveyed agreed that there was a sense of community among students.
 

85%

of Concordia graduates reported that they benefited from an emphasis on personal values and ethics.

of Concordia graduates surveyed said they were involved in volunteer or service activities during their college, compared with 42% of public university graduates surveyed.
