CUC professor examines local LCMS church history

Of the LCMS churches founded in large midwestern cities such as Chicago and St. Louis some of the buildings now house other denominations others are vacant, stand for sale, or have been torn down. Some still house LCMS congregations at only a fraction of their original size. Professor Pat Rose’s new article in the Lutheran Education Journal examines the history of LCMS churches in Chicago and addresses the question, “What does this mean?”
