Homecoming & Reunion Week 2011 Displays Outstanding School Spirit
The entire Concordia community celebrated Homecoming & Reunion Week Sept. 25 - Oct. 2 including the first-ever All-Theatre Reunion. A busy week of student activities included an Ice Cream Social Meet & Greet with 2011 Homecoming Court, a night of comedy with Mission IMPROVable and a reprise of the popular “Minute to Win It” competition. David Rivera and Molly Marcis were crowned Homecoming King and Queen at Friday’s pep rally to energize fans for Saturday’s football game against conference rival Benedictine.
The All-Theatre Reunion began on Thursday with a production of “The Great Fire” by Chicago’s Tony Award-Winning Lookingglass Theatre. Thespians also enjoyed the Production Party, behind-the-scenes campus tours, and Classes without Quizzes on Saturday. Saturday featured a History of Concordia Theatre Display and an All-Theatre Celebration with more than 76 thespians attending. Special worship during Friday Chapel and Sunday Morning Worship.
More than 165 alumni enjoyed the festivities over the course of the weekend which also included a GOLD Rush Reunion, Baseball & Softball Co-Ed 16" Alumni Game and Track & Field Alumni Tailgate.

Mark Your Calendar Now for Homecoming & Reunion Week 2012: Sunday, Sept. 30 - Sunday, Oct. 7
Next year’s festivities will feature opportunities for alumni to gather with students in honor of favorites campus activities. Celebrations in the works include a Summit of former Student Government Presidents, Charlie T. Cougar Mascot Mingle, Cohort Coffee, and more.
