Recreation and Intramurals
Concordia University Chicago’s Campus Recreation and Intramurals program strives to offer exciting, innovative and fun activities for students. These programs offered throughout the year are opportunities for students to interact with peers, make new friends and to become more physically active.
Participants will develop character, leadership and sportsmanship. Although the recreation and intramurals are intended for students, don't be surprised if you find a few of your professors and or staff members on the court or field.
Campus recreation includes any recreational events that are held on or off campus, such as running/walking events, excursions throughout the Chicago area, and card/board games.
Athletes who play at the collegiate level may not participate in intramural teams of the sport they are involved in. Athletes who are ineligible can serve as referees or participate in another intramural sport.
Intramural sports include but are not limited to:
- Floor Hockey
- Flag Football
- Ultimate Frisbee
The University will cover most of the costs of the Campus Recreation and Intramural program. However, there may be additional fees to offer extra activities. Please contact the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement with any questions or suggestions at 708-488-4215 or email@example.com.
