Deaconess Program

Who is a Deaconess?
A deaconess provides diaconal care, with special emphasis in mercy, spiritual care and teaching the faith.

Diaconal care is merciful and compassionate, done among "the least of these" (Matthew 25:40), compelled by the love of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:14).

A deaconess guides people to the Word of God and the Sacraments, provided by a pastor, to receive forgiveness of sins and strengthening of their faith.
