Local Rates:

In AT&T territory, charges for all local calls are determined by the distance between the switching office that serves your location and the switching office that serves the person you are calling.  The distance is broken down into "bands," with Concordia's Band A & B including the area within a 15-mile radius of campus. Concordia provides calling within this area at no charge to students. Click here for a complete list of area/exchanges which fall within this free local calling area. Any 708, 630, 847, 224, 312, 773 or 815 number not on the list falls within Band C (over 15 miles away) and will be charged at the following rates:  

International Rates:

International rates vary by destination and time of day.  Specific inquiries may be directed to the Telecom Office at x3047.

Toll-free Rates:

There is no charge for toll-free calling.
