Degree: Bachelor of Arts (128-136 hours)
(A state-approved program offering certification by entitlement for the majors listed by department.)
General Admission requirements:
Complete general requirements for admission to the Professional Instructional courses as listed above.
- Submit the application form to the College of Education.
- Obtain a recommendation from the department of the proposed major.
- Complete a minimum of 8 semester hours in courses prior to entry into a major's methods course.
- Have attained a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the proposed major.
- Anticipate achieving a GPA of 3.0 in the major by the time of application for student teaching.
- Obtain a written rationale for positive recommendation from the major department.
