A study of the fundamental principles of chemistry and biology. This course may not be counted toward any bilogy or chemistry major, minor, or designation. Fee: $25.
NSCI-1120: Concepts in Physics and Earth Science - 4 hours
A study of fundamental concepts shared by physics, earth and space science. Not indended for majors or minors in physics or earth science. Prerequisite: MAT-1000. Fee: $20.
NSCI-1130: Problem Solving in Mathematics/Sciences - 3 hours
Intergration of matematics and science in problem solving using foundational content. Guided-inquiry and skill building with the use of various technologies.
NSCI-1970: Energy and Our Enviroment - 3 hours
A study of the physical and chemical principles of energy. Issues of energy conservation and usage, together with their enviromental impacts, are considered from the perspectives of chemistry, earth science, physics, and biology. This course may not be counted toward General Studies National Science requirements. Fee $20. IAI LP 900L.
