Fifty Years of Women's Athletics
1959-2009

In 2009, Concordia University Chicago will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Intercollegiate Women’s Athletics at the University. More than 800 female athletes have competed since that first season in 1959-60, and plans are in the works for a full year of activities to honor these athletes.

Reunion Weekend
Friday-Sunday, July 24-26, 2009

To kick off the celebration, athletes past and present are invited along with coaches and team support staff for a special Reunion Weekend Friday-Sunday, July 24-26. Stay tuned for full event details scheduled to be released in early January 2009.

In the meantime, the Celebration Planning Committee is making every effort to include as many former Concordia athletes as possible in our celebration and is looking for alumni assistance in locating athletes as well as volunteers to promote and plan the event.
