What Makes Concordia Special…
Concordia is not just a school where you earn a degree. This school helped me see I am looking for more in life than a job at the end of four years. I look forward to a life filled with service to others. Concordia helped me to acquire knowledge and skills I would need to perform more than just a job. They helped me find my vocation in life. Any school can train you for a job, but I wanted something more. I most enjoyed the wonderful faculty we have here at Concordia. They are always willing to help in any way they can. They teach because they love it. One of my favorite memories is gathering in the chapel for the service of Compline at 10:30 at night. The chapel air would be hushed and the lighting dimmed. We gathered and exited in silence. It is such a beautiful close to the day. Afterwards, we made up for the lack of noise with our usual trip to Gene & Judes for greasy hot dogs and handmade fries. A meal that was sure to make any health conscious person squirm.
