Virtual Tour

  • The Triangle

Centered in the middle of campus, the triangle is a hub of activity all day long. You’ll find serious games of ultimate Frisbee, a place where students and faculty meet outside of class, and the center for a variety of student activities.
  • The Pillars

The Pillars, ten of them, grace the original front entrance to campus. New students are first welcomed to campus during official check-in adjacent to the Addison pillars. The Pillars lawn is a favorite with students and community residents alike during each June’s pops concert. Christmas caroling, pep rallies and homecoming festivities are a tradition on the steps leading to the pillars.
  • The Chapel

The Chapel of Our Lord is the center of faith at Concordia University Chicago. Students, faculty, and the community members enjoy daily chapel services, a variety of music and drama productions.
  • Athletic Fields

Football, soccer, track and field, softball and baseball student athletes keep the athletic facilities busy at all times. The field surface was the first football field of its kind in Illinois using an infill mixture of crumb rubber from recycled automobile tires.
  • The Christopher Center

Dedicated on October 12, 2002, The Walter and Maxine Christopher Center for Learning and Leadership was the vision of Jay Christopher and Doris Christopher, whose generosity and commitment resulted in its construction and subsequently an impactful growth in programming and student opportunity.
