Transfer Timeline

It’s a simple transfer to Concordia University Chicago. Transfer students are welcome to enroll for the fall and spring semesters. Simply follow the calendared guide below to find out what you need to do and when to do it. 

If you have any questions, feel free to contact one of our transfer admission counselors. If your last name begins with A-L, your admission counselor is Steffani. If your last name begins with M-Z, your admission counselor is Josh.

If you’re planning to start classes in the Fall:

Visit the Office of Undergraduate Admission anytime during the year to receive an unofficial transcript evaluation - especially during Walk-in Wednesdays!

September – January

  • Apply early!
  • File the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) for the 2012-13 school year
  • Learn more about CUC’s Honors Program!
  • Look for class registration to open in December
  • Sign up for a music scholarship audition at CUC in January 

February

  • Secure additional local scholarships
  • Attend the Spring Visit day
  • Complete your admission file: Send all official transcripts of all college course work from each institution attended.  If you have less than 15 semester hours (22.5 quarter hours), you will need to submit an official final high school transcript, complete with graduation dates, or written documentation of successful completion of the G.E.D., and official ACT or SAT1 scores.

  • Submit your enrollment deposit on Concordia Connect to set up an appointment with your academic advisor
  • Complete your admission file: Send all official transcripts of all college course work from each institution attended.  If you have less than 15 semester hours (22.5 quarter hours), you will need to submit an official final high school transcript, complete with graduation dates, or written documentation of successful completion of the G.E.D., and official ACT or SAT1 scores.
