Concordia University students with sophomore status or above may elect to study abroad for a semester, year, or summer. The Coordinator of International Study provides information on programs at universities all over the world. After meeting with the coordinator, students should consult with Academic Advising in order to set up their academic program and with the Office of Student Financial Planning to determine whether financial aid packages apply for international study.
Visiting Student Program
Maybe you'd like to find out what it's like to live in another part of the country. Or, maybe you'd like to study with a particular professor, or perhaps there's a special program you'd like to check out. The Visiting Student Program gives you this valuable option.
Concordia University's Simultaneous Enrollment Program is for students who wish to expand their educational careers by enrolling for one or two semesters at a Concordia in another part of the country through the Visiting Student Program.
Concordia University is a member of the Lutheran College Washington Consortium, sponsored by a group of 13 Lutheran colleges and universities. The consortium offers a full semester of combined coursework and internship experiences designed to introduce students to the range of governmental activities in Washington D.C., with an emphasis on ethical dimensions of public service.
For information on the Washington Consortium Semester or see the Dean of Students.
