CUS Visiting Students

What is Simultaneous Enrollment? (Visiting Student Program)

Concordia University's Simultaneous Enrollment Program is for students who wish to expand their educational careers by enrolling for one or two semesters at a Concordia in another part of the country through the Visiting Student Program.

When students enroll at Concordia University, they are simultaneously enrolled at the other nine (9) colleges and universities in the Concordia University System (CUS). These colleges and universities include the CUS campuses of: Ann Arbor, Michigan; Austin, Texas; Bronxville, New York; Irvine, California; Mequon, Wisconsin; Portland, Oregon; St. Paul, Minnesota, Selma, Alabama and Seward, Nebraska.

Academic credits earned at another CUS institution are recorded as if students in the program earned those credits at Concordia University. Because the number of participants is limited each year, interested students are encouraged to contact the Registrar and the Dean of Students well in advance of their intended stay at another CUS institution.

What's the advantage?

Maybe you'd like to find out what it's like to live in another part of the country. Or, maybe you'd like to study with a particular professor, or perhaps there's a special program you'd like to check out. The Visiting Student Program gives you this valuable option.

Haven't got time for RED tape?

There's no hassle! Provided there is space available, and you have the approval of both CUS campuses involved, you can study at the other campus without having to submit transfers, transcripts or lengthy paperwork. Your earned academic credits will be entered into your Concordia transcript. For more details, please consult the Office of the Registrar at (708) 209-3165.
