Honor Code Council

We are seeking undergraduate students to serve on the Honor Code Council. This is an opportunity for students to be part of a faculty-student committee and help make important decisions pertaining to the Honor Code and university's mission. Committee members' primary responsibilities will be to serve on investigative teams and honor code panels, but members will also:

  • Serve as a role model to the whole community
  • Participate in the training program
  • Educate the community
  • Assist the director in other capacities as requested

The ideal candidate must be an undergraduate student, must have completed two semesters at Concordia University Chicago and must be in good standing at all times (to serve and to continue on the committee). This is a volunteer position. The number of hours required will vary depending on activity but is anticipated to be 0-3 hours per week (many weeks will not require any time).

To apply, students must submit an application, a faculty recommendation, and a second letter of recommendation from someone who can attest to your integrity. An interview will also be conducted with qualified candidates.

If you are interested, applications will be accepted immediately. Please submit application materials to the address below by mail or email. An application will be considered complete when the student application and both letters of recommendation have been received. To check on application status or to answer any initial questions, email the Director of the Honor Code System at katherine.heetel@cuchicago.edu.

We look forward to your participation in making our university an even better place. Please consider this opportunity!
