When students write, they are putting their thoughts on paper. We want to capture student thinking. Teachers need to encourage this kind of thinking more regularly in their classrooms. So often, though, there are time constraints and scheduling concerns that can inhibit this process. Teachers need to carve out time for writing on a daily basis in their classrooms.
So…how do we do that? What are some time management strategies and ideas that you can take with you into your classroom?
This workshop will look at a variety of writing methods, programs, ideas and strategies that are currently considered “best practice” and explore writing options for your classroom.
Let’s try to unlock the thinking in our students and get those thoughts on paper!
